Making an extra 50 cents working in a lab

This individual works in a laboratory and all the lab coats hang in the hall when not in use. Every once in a while this person will slip two quarters into a randomly selected pocket of one of the coats. The recipient of the money is unknown and they don't know the quarter giver. The only problem is that now the candy/soda machines are a minimum of fifty-five cents!

The 2nd Paperboy

A man walks every morning at five am. When he walks he puts the newspapers, which the paper boy has thrown on the ground, up onto the front door of seven houses. When he started doing he did not know who lived in the houses. He has met some very nice people because of doing this…

A little thing to me was a big deal to someone else

I work at an on campus print shop as a delivery guy. I drive around in a golf cart for deliveries that are on campus. Today an older woman asked me for a ride to the building she worked at. I agreed, and later found out that she had had surgery on both knees and back.

Easy To Do

Here is one that anyone with a car and some extra change can do. When going through a toll booth pay for your toll, but you can give a few extra bucks to pay for the person or a few people behind you. I've done it, and although you don't get to see the person's face it is still a good feeling.

I saw this on the news sometime back

I saw this one on the news about a year ago… A couple parked their car to go shopping and did not lock it. When they came back to the car they found a note and a diamond ring on the driver side seat. The note said something like, “it is lucky you did not lock your doors today, but if I was someone with negative intent not locking your doors is not such a smart thing.” The ring was appraised at over $15,000. This is a good story, but I do not recommend leaving your car doors unlocked when shopping.

One I did last year

At the end of last Winter I was walking on campus at night under my umbrella with my friend in a pretty bad icy rain storm. I saw a girl doing all that she could from falling on the ice as she was getting soaked in the rain. I went up to her and helped her get her footing on ice free pavement. After asking if she was alright I gave her my umbrella and said, “Have a good one.”

Panera Bread Company’s giving back to the community

The Panera Bread company is a large chain that does two things worth noting. First is that they have done a random acts of kindness event where if you buy one loaf of bread they will give you a second to give to someone else at random. Second is that at the end of the day the left over food goes to a local charity of that store's choice.
